Delivery and Availability Information

Update......Unlike many other websites, Babygear does not take payment when you enter your card details at checkout. We ensure we can supply the order first. If an exceptional delivery time has arisen we would let you know, giving you the option to cancel if the delivery time is too long. If delivery time is not exceptional then we will process the payment and fulfil the order. 

Delivery charges

Free shipping applies to orders over £50 (Except some furniture, where charges will be detailed in the product's description) You can get a shipping estimate for items under £50 by going to the basket, where there is a delivery charge feature. Occasionally our system will quote two prices. This is just an oversight when listing at our end. Simply pick the lowest charge. If you need express send us an email we will let you know if we can offer it and how much it will be.

When We Ship

For general goods we package and ship the same day if ordered early enough. For larger items and items direct from the manufacturer delivery can be 3 -14 working days. We are happy to provide a more accurate shipping estimate once we know what the item is and where it is going to. Please do ask us.

Pram and Accessories Delivery Times

Some prams and their accessories can take up to 6 weeks from order if not in stock. This is common and also applies at the Brands own websites. We will advise you of the estimated delivery time. Some of the luxury Brands prams can take up to 12 weeks. Customers are advised to order early. It is a reality that most Brands regularly go out of stock of different models/colours across their range, randomly throughout the year. 

Babygear can only offer the delivery estimates provided to us by the Brands, which for some frequently change, we have no control over those estimates or if they change. Babygear cannot accept any liability for delayed deliveries where a pram or other product is delayed by the manufacturer or by the courier. We regret we are unable to offer loans for delayed internet orders.

We will keep you updated if your order is going to be longer than the typical delivery time.

Please note The manufacturers do not open at weekends, so nothing ships from them during weekends. We cannot get delivery information from suppliers during the weekend and on occasions there can be more demand for a certain product, across all UK retailers, than the supplier can satisfy once they open on Monday. 

Once dispatched the courier service will typically deliver to most areas within 48 hours. Postal delivery are usually 24-48 hours.

Special Offer Delays

Please note some special offers are promotions by the manufacturer, these can occasionally get over subscribed nationally and our normal indicated delivery time may be exceeded. We will always let you know and we can cancel the order at no cost if the estimated delivery time is too long. Unlike most other web sites, we only check your card for security purposes at checkout, we don't request the payment from the card company at that time or until we have accepted the order. 

Lost or Damaged orders

You must inform us if the item is damaged in transit, so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. for damaged items please mark “damaged” when signing. If they have an electronic signature advise the driver you want to note the damage, they have a procedure for that and are happy to report it. 

If you item does not arrive when expected wait and extra day and check the tracking number if we have provided one. Do not wait longer before getting in touch.

Please quote your order number in all correspondence. 

If you fail to report a late or damaged delivery beyond what the courier will accept Babygear will be unable to rectify the problem or reimburse you for the loss.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received at the address you provided.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you and advise you. You can of course cancel if the time is unacceptable.

Delivery Destinations and Times

We currently deliver Monday - Friday to the UK only. We will use Royal Mail or a courier such as DPD, DHL, TNT, Hermes Parcel Force.  If you need an express service just let us know, we are happy to arrange a more premium service and can send you a payment link email for any additional charge.

We deliver to UK Post Codes in the nationally recognised UK Post Code Zones 1 - 3*

Zone 1 Mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland

Zone 2 Scottish Highland & Islands

Zone 3 Isle of Man & Scilly Isles

Furniture Delivery

Some furniture items are delivered directly from the manufacturer, unfortunately they currently only deliver to UK Zone 1 Post Codes. 


We cannot accept returns at the store unless authorised in advance, please do not bring items in we will not be able to accept them.

Unwanted returns need to be shipped to various return centres. Please contact us for a returns authorisation. We will provide you with a return number and the return centre address. Please do not bring to the store we cannot forward them on.
